Starlet is a platform that lets brands, musicians, and streamers pay to be seen across short-form feeds — TikTok, Reels, Shorts, and X — powered by people who get paid and incentivized to post viral clips.
We’re building Starlet’s first product dashboard: campaign discovery, submissions, and payouts for clippers, plus performance and analytics tools for the clients funding them. Some of the biggest creators and brands in the world are already using Starlet, and this is a real chance to help shape what short-form marketing becomes.
You’ll work from real product designs, contribute to technical decisions, and ship production features across the stack rather than disappearing into a narrow ticket queue.
What you’ll do
- Build polished, responsive product surfaces in React and Next.js.
- Turn Figma designs into accurate, maintainable pages and reusable components.
- Design and implement backend workflows, APIs, and MongoDB data access.
- Handle the details that make a product feel finished: loading, empty, error, and mobile states.
- Work directly with the team, ship in small increments, and improve the product from real feedback.
What we’re looking for
- Strong React experience, or deep experience in another component framework such as Svelte, Vue, or Angular.
- A proven ability to turn Figma designs into high-quality production interfaces.
- Hands-on MongoDB experience — this is a must.
- Comfort working across frontend, backend, and deployment concerns.
- Knowledge of social media; if you understand why people doomscroll TikTok or Reels, you’ll understand the product faster.
Nice to have
- Next.js, TypeScript, authentication, analytics, or payment-workflow experience.
- Experience with creator platforms, social APIs, or high-volume event data.
- A strong product instinct and willingness to challenge unclear implementation details.

We famously keep working with people we’ve worked with before. Past contractors regularly get pulled into paid ad-hoc projects around Starlet, so this can become an ongoing relationship rather than a one-off contract.
