Starlet follows the principle of least privilege. Currently, only developers from Starlet Platforms, LLC have access to view and modify Starlet data. No third parties or external services can access Starlet’s database information or servers. If this changes, you will be promptly notified.

Please note that requests to delete data permanently cannot be processed through Starlet support tickets in Discord. To ensure all requests are properly recorded and processed, they must be made through email.

5. Subscriptions

Starlet operates in Discord servers, but commands require a subscription. Subscriptions are managed via Stripe, and relevant data (e.g., Stripe Subscription ID, payment details, Discord User ID) is securely stored by Prevail Media Interactive. Account identification: we collect unique identifiers associated with users who have violated our community guidelines or terms of service. This includes the user’s account identification, the date of the violation, the reason for the enforcement action, and the identifier of the team member responsible for the action.

Purpose: this data helps us maintain the integrity of our platform by preventing users who have violated our rules from re-engaging in harmful activities.

8. Content Submission Management

Content tracking: to prevent duplicate submissions and ensure fair compensation, we collect and store details about content that has been submitted to Starlet. This includes the unique identifier of the content, the associated social media account, the server where it was submitted, and the type of content (e.g., TikTok, Instagram Reel, Twitter/X post, YouTube Short).

Engagement metrics: we track various engagement metrics such as views, likes, comments, and platform-specific metrics (e.g., Facebook views for Instagram content). We also log the dates when content was posted and last updated.

Purpose: this data allows us to manage submissions effectively, ensuring that content is only compensated once and that accurate metrics are used for payout calculations.

8.1 Use of Videos to Improve Internal Starlet AI Models

We may use videos submitted to Starlet to test or train internal AI models. This is done solely to improve the Starlet platform in ways we believe genuinely benefit the people who use it.

While not all of these improvements are public yet, we want to be upfront about the fact that your content plays a small part in making Starlet better. We take an Apple-like approach to new features — they’re not announced until they’re fully ready.

Just as importantly:

Payment tracking: we collect data related to the payment cycles for content created on Starlet. This includes the timeframe during which content was created, the associated server, the unique identifiers of the content, and the total engagement metrics across various platforms.

Payment models: we also store information about the payment model and settings used during these cycles.

Purpose: this data helps us ensure accurate and timely payments to users based on their content’s performance during specified timeframes.

10. Opportunity Promotion and Advertising

Promotion management: for users who utilize Starlet’s promotion features, we collect data related to the promotion campaign. This includes the server where the promotion is initiated, the user initiating the campaign, the invite code for new users, and the details of the promotion (e.g., views targeted, description provided, and the message associated with the promotion).

Purpose: this data allows us to facilitate the promotion of opportunities within Starlet’s user base and ensure that promotions are delivered as intended.

11. What data do you collect for other platforms?

Similar to TikTok, Starlet collects data for Instagram and YouTube. This includes usernames, user IDs, and video IDs. All collected data is public and accessible through commands on Starlet.

14. Identity Verification (KYC) with Sumsub

For campaigns that require identity verification or Know Your Customer (KYC) measures, we use Sumsub, a trusted third-party identity verification provider. An example of this is the Pump.fun campaign, where participants were asked to verify their identity and sign a contractor agreement before contributing content.

We do not directly store or manually process your submitted identification materials. Instead, they are uploaded securely through Sumsub’s platform and remain viewable only via Sumsub’s dashboard. We do not download or share these documents outside of their system. This ensures the highest standard of security and integrity.

When Sumsub is used, all data remains within their secure system. If we need to share access to your verification with campaign partners (such as Pump.fun), it is done by securely adding them as authorized viewers inside Sumsub’s dashboard — not through screenshots, downloads, or external emails.

Your data is never used in illicit or illegitimate ways. We only access this data for the purposes of fulfilling compliance requirements for specific campaigns or partnerships, and only when absolutely necessary. If a campaign requires KYC, we will always notify you in advance.
