N3on & Starlet: 8.5 Billion Views in Six Months

It's been a busy couple of months for the world's most clipped content creator. N3on has run his clipping operations on Starlet since 2023, and three years in, we're still setting records the clipping economy hasn't seen from a single creator.

In April, Business Insider reported that N3on had paid 303 clippers more than $1.4 million in five weeks. That was five weeks. Those campaigns ran on Starlet, the platform they're posted on, verified on and paid out through, so we can show what the full six months looked like.

N3on's clipping numbers: the last 6-7 months

  • 8,529,799,323 total views (8.5 billion)
  • $2,632,732 paid out to clippers ($2.63 million)
  • 142,631 clips posted across TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and X
  • 1,674 viral hits (clips with over 1 million views)
  • 534 active Starlet clippers
  • Top clipper: @atomlightning

How N3on's clipping works

For anyone new to this: N3on streams live on Kick. A big stream peaks in the tens of thousands of viewers, while a single clip from it can reach tens of millions. The gap between those two numbers is the whole business, and clippers are the ones who close it.

Over the last six months, 534 people watched N3on's streams, found the funniest, most captivating and interesting moments, cut them into clips, wrote the hooks and posted them across four platforms. Roughly one in every 85 of those clips crossed a million views. (We call them clippers.)

What a clipping campaign on Starlet looks like

Starlet is a marketing platform for clipping. A creator posts a campaign: here's the content, here's the rate per 1,000 views, here are the rules. Clippers pick it up, post, and get paid for the views their clips actually earn. There's no media plan, no agency retainer, no ad unit. You fund a budget and it only goes out for attention that happened.

N3on's campaigns also run on this marketplace. Starlet is where 534 clippers found the campaign, learned the rules, submitted 142,631 clips, had every one of them verified, and got paid $2.63 million on results. The same marketplace is open to any creator, artist, label or brand with a moment worth spreading.

Clipping is the new distribution layer for the internet. When people see something everywhere, they don't call it an ad. They call it a clip.

The views don't stop when the campaign does

Every campaign on Starlet has a payout window. Clippers get paid for the views their clips earn inside it, and then the window closes. The clips don't. Nobody deletes a video that's working, so 142,631 N3on clips are still live across TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and X, still getting served, still showing up when someone searches his name.

That's the part ads can't do. A campaign on Starlet buys a burst of attention, and leaves behind a permanent footprint that keeps earning without another dollar in marketing.

Run a clipping campaign on Starlet

N3on is the biggest story on Starlet, but his 8.5 billion is one slice of the 42B+ verified views Starlet has powered for creators, musicians, labels and brands since 2023.
